Thank you for participating with Areca Concept Tour. In order to make your trip a memorable and novelty journey, we provide you the following information at your disposal so to prevent any unforeseen circumstances as well as making your travel smoothly at ease.
1) In/out of the border
1.1(a) you should be prepared with your luggage, passports, and related documents at the airline check-in counter at least 3 hours prior to your flight schedule.
1.1(b) the standard procedure for Luggage is 1 check-in luggage and 1 hand-held.
1.1(c) the check-in luggage should be durable and appropriately should weigh no more than twenty kilograms (20kg).
1.1(d) for your hand-held luggage must not consist of knives, lighters, hair spray, perfume, and other prohibited items. If you wish to bring these items along, please put them into your check-in luggage.
2.1(a) Depending on the itinerary, please prepare proper clothing in advance to your travel.
2.1(a) If it would be summer time in the destination that you will be visiting, please prepare sunscreen/sunblock, large straw hats or any suitable hats, folding umbrellas, just to name a few suggestions.
2.1(b) if it is winter season in the destination that you are travelling to, please prepare thermal undergarments, gloves and any other necessary apparel to prevent you from freezing.
2.1(d) travelling requires quite a lot of walking; hence comfortable walking shoes are strongly advisable in your travel.
3) Daily Supplies
3.1(a) Toothpaste, soap, toothbrush, comb, conditioner and other cosmetics should be prepared as well, just in case these supplies provided by hotels are not suitable to your personal use.
3.1(b) you may also bring along your own towel if you are not used to hotel towels.
3.1(c) you should also prepare your personal medication and any necessary ailments, just in case.
For the safety and security of your travel, we felt responsible and therefore we must ensure that you strictly observe the following items.
a) While travelling by air, please always tie up your belt for sudden turbulence. Some can be quite violent.
b) If possible, please leave valuable items in the hotel’s safety box. Should you need to carry them along, just beware always for pickpockets or thieves?
c) Make sure that your hotel room is always locked. If you are a smoker, do not smoke on the bed, just in case. If the fire alarm or any emergency siren triggered, leave your room through the emergency exits provided by every hotels.
d) If you should swim, swim at the proper time. Do not swim alone and make sure there is always at least one lifeguard around. Also do not swim if they had closed the pool.
e) Even though it is an international rule, please make sure you are always wearing your life jacket should you travel around by the water. Ensure that you are firmly seated to the boat or any vessels so to prevent any mishaps.
f) If you are snorkeling, make sure you swim within safe zone and never go beyond security zone. If you intend to go diving, make sure you take up the lesson from professionals and let them guide you instead of doing it your way.
g) Activities such as helicopter ride, small plane over Grand Canyon, bungee jumping, parachute related activities, and etc., have varying degrees of irritation and can be considerably high risk. Should you have poor health or not confident in any of the aforementioned activities, please do not take part. Nothing is more important that your life to your loved ones.
h) Should you rent a car, try not to change driver while driving, put hands or any body parts out of the window, hopping up and down the car and most importantly, pay attention to the incoming traffic, not the map.
i) If you commute in a cable car, always obey the command of the staff handling the machine.
j) While walking on snow or steep road, please take careful steps for slippery purposes.
k) Do not flash your cash in public when you go shopping or making payments.
l) Kindly pay close attention to precautions given out by tour leaders or guides in ever places.
m) Please observe the amount of monetary term stated in the country you travel to.
Food and beverage
a) Smokers and drinkers should know that these items and substances are duty free in airports and aircrafts.
b) Should you enter a restaurant, please allow to be seated by the waiter/waitress there.
c) In many dining places today, it is necessary to take into consideration about the emotional rights of other patrons. Therefore, try to have appropriate control over noises that you may make.
d) Should you enjoy a buffet, take as much as you can possibly consume and practice no food wastage? Also, do not have to habit of taking food away from the restaurant.
a) Please always ensure your personal belongings are safely kept. Should you find the hotel that you stay in is without safety box, please request for one or another?
b). When you leave the hotel room, please ensure you bring along your hotel key or pass it back to the front office of the hotel for safe keeping just in case you might lose it while sightseeing.
c) The normal check-out time for hotels is at 12 noon, unless stated otherwise with certain hotels. However, please make sure you check-out on time.
a) Always ask for receipts when you go shopping in malls, stores, complexes, or supermarkets to avoid any unforeseen and unwanted circumstances.
b) Pay attention to tour leader or guide and have mutual respect towards fellow travellers.
c) Depending on your itinerary, when entering religious places, always remains quiet and do not simply disturb anything that is there.
d) Again, prepare proper medications depending on where you travel to; such as cold remedies, analgesics and so on.
Before returning own country
a) When you fill up the commodity tax refund slips, pay close attention to the refund differences between hand and check-in baggage.
b) Do not accept any strange items at the airport by other people in order to avoid custom inspections subjecting to unexpected calamities.
